We are too.

We are BRAINS - we craft engaging, cross-media narrative experiences that inspire people to connect

  • our award-winning brains (Apple TV’s Berlin ER) design stories across TV, video games, film, XR, LBE and audio

  • we believe there are more ideas in more brains - we thrive in helping creatives and industries collaborate

  • we build memorable story worlds and grow them into original IPs

  • we aim to foster authentic relationships with fan communities around the world

  • Are you a video game studio looking to improve your narrative?
Are you a film producer looking to adapt an exciting IP?
Are you a TV executive looking to create a companion game for a show?

Today, the challenge is to find your audiences where they are - across platforms. At BRAINS, we know the codes of TV, movies, game and new tech. We specialise in facilitating collaborations between industries. Whether it be for existing IPs or original projects, we can help you grow worlds that will find their fans globally.

We are experienced TV and game creatives with a passion for genre, rich universes and nerd culture.

    They already trust us:

    • Mindforce Game Lab (Sweden): Fig, a mobile game

    • Arkanum Pictures (Germany): Kitchen of Memories, a culinary VR experience

    • Berlinale, Trieste Film Festival, Festival of Future Storytellers (Munich): keynotes on world building across formats

  • We develop our own original stories, with the goal of growing them into living narrative ecosystems.
Media-agnostic, we believe that a world can come through any story, born through any format.

    We are working on:

    • Lemon Noir, a Franco-British mystery TV series (winner of the CNC coproduction development grant), with built-in potential to expand into video games, location-based experiences and novels

    • In Vein, a rogue-like multiplayer puzzle game for PC/console with a tie-in prequel TV series set in a futuristic Berlin

    • Scar, the start of a folk horror movie trilogy set in rural England

    • Blood Pressure, a medical drama series in development with SHUK (London)

  • Our flagship product exists across mobile games, location-based high-end experiences and a new take on interactive movies.

The Ministry of Impossible Stories (MIS) is an interactive narrative game meant to be played by groups. Guided by a Narrator, friends and families collaborate to lead the story to one of its many possible endings.

The game blends Choose Your Own Adventure storytelling, escape-room-style puzzles and voting mechanics.
